The channel idents reveal the inverted question mark of the BBC Knowledge logo within different environments. They are directed by Tilt Design and BBC Worldwide.

The Envy CG team, lead by Dave Child, created elements including a school of 6000 fusilier fish, a mechanical jellyfish and a dew soaked spider's web. These were composited in Smoke by lead VFX artist Jason Farrow, assisted by James Smith and Olivia O'Neil. Rich Martin designed the audio and composed the score, and the films were graded by Vicki Matich
