About the Role

You’ll be a core part of our team, helping to build, deploy, and operate record systems that support some of the industry’s most ambitious productions. Working alongside our other engineers and technical leads, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and reliable delivery under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the planning, setup, and operation of CAPTURE’s fixed-rig record systems both on location and at our London workshop.
  • Support system builds, pre-flight testing, and quality control to ensure reliable on-set performance.
  • Work as part of the on-site technical team, contributing to troubleshooting and problem-solving as required.
  • Follow established workflows and technical processes during production, while contributing to the development and rollout of new approaches across the division.
  • Collaborate closely with ENVY’s post-production teams, providing clear communication and feedback to ensure seamless integration between on-set record and post workflows.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience working with multi-camera record systems in fast-paced production environments.
  • Strong understanding of video signal paths, recording formats, and synchronisation workflows.
  • Practical experience with ingest pipelines, metadata workflows, and multi-stream HD/UHD capture.
  • Strong troubleshooting ability and a calm, solutions-focused mindset.
  • Flexibility to travel across the UK and internationally, sometimes at short notice.

Why Join CAPTURE

  • Be part of a specialist team delivering technical solutions for high-profile productions.
  • Gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge workflows and on-set delivery.
  • Work closely with other engineers and technical leads, learning from industry experts.
  • Contribute to some of the UK’s most exciting and ambitious unscripted productions.
