Damon Tai Joins ENVY

We are delighted to announce Damon Tai has joined as part of their Online Editing department.

Damon brings over 20 years’ worth of experience in the TV industry, gaining his first credit at the young age of 21. He joined The Farm in 2004, where he spent 18 years as both an Online and Offline Editor, working on a vast array of projects from entertainment to documentaries.

Damon has worked closely with TV presenter, Charlie Brooker, on several projects including the BAFTA-winning, 2016 Wipe, and Anti-Viral Wipe, which also received a BAFTA nomination. These are just a couple of BAFTA and RTS nominations that Damon has earned throughout his career.

Damon’s appointment follows a string of internal promotions across the Company. This includes 6 Runners/Front of House staff moving into Production and Machine Room roles in the past month. It is a huge part of ENVY’s ethos to promote talent from within wherever possible and we celebrate the fact that over 50% of staff have come from the ENVY Academy system since it was created in 2008.
