Junior Post Production Engineer

We are looking for a Junior Post Production Engineer to form part of our larger team of engineers, supporting staff and clients with Avid skills and post production workflow knowledge.

Main Purpose:

You will be part of the Engineering team that support all areas within the large facility.  Must have strong Avid skills and good post-production workflow knowledge.  Client facing skills also essential.  You will have the opportunity to increase your knowledge in all areas and receive on the job training from our Senior Engineers in other areas, including Baselight, ProTools, Flame and Networking.

Main Responsibilities:

  • First line engineering support for all escalated ENVY Remote and Avid issues.
  • Help provide first class support with the Engineering team across all ENVY buildings.
  • Help to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve issues in all areas.
  • Assist planned Engineering works including software and hardware updates across the facility with the team.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Excellent client communication skills.
  • Proficient at communicating both problems and solutions to technical and non-technical ENVY staff.
  • An individual who is highly motivated, enthusiastic, organised and enjoys dealing with a large variety of systems and workflows.
  • Excited by new technologies and opportunities and ready to help develop and improve the existing processes and infrastructure.
