Benedict Cumberbatch narrates Plimsoll Productions' Super/Natural, a National Geographic series which immerses viewers to experience the world exactly as specific animal species would. From seeing flowers in bee-vision to eavesdropping on an elephant seal conversation, advanced filmmaking tech helps viewers become very much part of the show.
On a recommendation from DNEG, Absolute picked up 28 shots and, coming at a time when the entire VFX industry is so busy, partnered with our friends at Lexhag VFX, with Absolute creatively leading on sequences for Starlings and Peregrines episodes. Much of the work was camera crew clean up, especially in the eyes of the Peregrine, BG replacements on all shots and flocking for the Rule of 6 sequence in Starlings.
