Alex Rice
Dubbing Mixer
Alex studied Sound Design at university and joined ENVY as a Runner in 2009. Since then, he has worked across almost every department, from Library to the Machine Room, before becoming a Dubbing Mixer in 2021.
Over his career, Alex has worked on a wide variety of programmes and regularly mixes returning TV favourites, including ‘Sort Your Life Out’, ‘Celebrity Lingo’ and ‘Surgeons: At the Edge of Life’.
Although nothing quite tops the experience of dropping off teas and coffees for Mick Jagger himself during a visit to ENVY for ‘Stones in Exile’, a film about the Rolling Stones’ legendary album ‘Exile on Main St’.
Outside of work, Alex is a keen motor racing fan, following Formula 1 closely and attending events such as the Le Mans 24 Hours.
