Yiorgos Loizou

Yiorgos began his career in 2001 at NATS Post Production before moving to Evolutions, where he progressed from Runner through Offline and Online Support into Online Editing using Avid, as well as grading in Baselight. He joined ENVY in 2019 as an Online Editor, with his first project being ‘Mind of a Monster’.
Since joining ENVY, Yiorgos has worked on a wide range of programmes. Recent projects include ‘The Summit’, ‘Taylor’ and ‘Simon Schama: The Road to Auschwitz’.
Some of his other standout credits include ‘Crackanory’, ‘Four in a Bed’, ‘Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is’, ‘Eating with My Ex’ and ‘Love in the Flesh’, all of which allowed him to bring a strong creative input to the final programmes.
Yiorgos particularly enjoys sci-fi and fantasy film and television, as well as true crime and historical documentaries. He also holds two feature film credits: ‘AAAAAAAH!’, which premiered at Fright Fest, and ‘The Ghou’l, which premiered at BAFTA. Outside of work, Yiorgos is a member of the Knife, Axe and Tomahawk Throwing Association, where he trains in target throwing disciplines.
