Paul Fallon
Senior Colourist
With the emergence of Avid Symphony as the industry-standard online tool, Paul discovered colour grading. After ten years as an Online Editor, he recognised grading as the natural next step in his career. His breakthrough came with the first series of ‘The Apprentice’. Although working as Online Editor at the time, discussions with producers led to a more ambitious visual approach than was typical for the period, and the response to the finished work was extremely positive. From that point on, he was increasingly requested as a Colourist, marking his transition into the next stage of his career.
Since then, Paul has worked across a wide range of acclaimed and thought-provoking programmes. Recent projects include ‘Europe on the Edge with Katya Adler’, ‘Michael Jackson: The Trial’ and ‘Lucy Letby: Murder or Mistake’.
Earlier in his career at ENVY, he worked on Morgan Matthews’ ‘The Fallen’, an acclaimed three-hour film exploring the experiences of families affected by the Afghan conflict. He has also contributed to internationally successful series such as ‘Gold Rush’ and ‘Grand Designs’, reaching global audiences in their millions.
Paul particularly enjoys projects that align with his personal interests, especially anything food-related. Outside of work, he can often be found in the kitchen at social gatherings, usually leafing through cookbooks for inspiration.
