Dicky graduated from Ravensbourne University in 1992 and began his career as an Edit Assistant at TVI. He progressed his career, working as an On-line Editor at TSI and Evolutions, before moving to ENVY in summer 2007 as a Senior Editor, operating Smoke, Baselight and Avid Symphony.
Dicky builds long-term client relationships and works across a spread of genres including documentary and factual entertainment. Some of his favourite projects include ‘The Rise of the Murdoch Dynasty’, ‘8 Days: To the Moon and Back’, ‘Diana, 7 Days’, ‘Top Gear’ and ‘The Apprentice’. He relishes the challenge of tight deadline deliveries and editing multi-camera studio programmes.
Outside of work, Dicky enjoys spending time with his partner, visiting their friends throughout the UK, and staying in interesting buildings (mainly Landmark Trust). He’s particularly interested in exploring heritage steam railways, churches, cathedrals, and medieval cities. He’s a Governor of BFE (British Film Editors) and a Freeman of the City of London.
