Dicky Everton
Senior Online Editor
Dicky graduated from Ravensbourne University in 1992 and began his career as an Edit Assistant at TVI. He progressed to working as an Online Editor at TSI and Evolutions, before joining ENVY in summer 2007 as a Senior Editor, working across Smoke, Baselight and Avid Symphony.
Dicky builds long-term client relationships and works across a broad range of genres, including documentary and factual entertainment. His recent projects include ‘The Summit’, ‘The Apprentice’ and ‘Grand Designs’. He relishes the challenge of tight turnaround deliveries and editing multi-camera studio programmes.
Some of his earlier standout projects include ‘The Rise of the Murdoch Dynasty’, ‘8 Days: To the Moon and Back’, and ‘Diana, 7 Day’s.
Outside of work, Dicky enjoys spending time with his partner and visiting friends across the UK, as well as staying in interesting buildings, particularly those managed by the Landmark Trust. He has a keen interest in exploring heritage steam railways, churches, cathedrals and medieval cities. He is a Full Member of BAFTA, Co-Chair of the British Film Editors (BFE), and a Freeman of the City of London.
