Tom started his career at VideoLondon as a Runner, after being introduced to his now ENVY colleague Bob Jackson by his brother, who helped him starting out. After a year of running, Tom moved into audio as a Studio Assistant for foley and then a Mix Assistant.
He later joined The Farm as a Tracklayer and 6 months later began mixing promos for the Company. Following his stint at The Farm, he joined ENVY on Day 1 of the Company starting in May 2006 where he has stayed ever since. Over that time, he has mixed a variety of projects, most notably over 10 years of Gold Rush and spin off shows including Parker’s Trail and Dave Turin’s Lost Mine, Locked Up Abroad and Stanley Tucci: Searching for Italy. Tom has celebrated two Emmy nominations for the latter in the Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Non-Fiction or Reality Program for both season 1 and 2 as well as a BAFTA nomination for Rostropovich: The Genius of the Cello.
