Bob Jackson
Senior Dubbing Mixer
Bob began his career in 1977 as a Runner in a film and television post-production facility. With a strong early interest in sound, he took every opportunity to learn from colleagues across all areas of audio post, gaining hands-on experience in tracklaying and mixing on 16mm film. He later spent time developing a deeper understanding of location sound recording and microphone techniques before returning to mixing at another facility, working across television drama on 16mm and feature film on 35mm.
As the industry transitioned from film to video and from analogue to digital workflows, Bob embraced these changes, continually adapting his skills and expertise to evolving technologies, ultimately leading him to ENVY, where he continues to work today.
Recent projects include ‘Europe on the Edge with Katya Adler’, ‘Civilisation: Rise and Fall’ and ‘Grand Designs’.
