Senior Dubbing Mixer
After studying at the Brit School and Ravensbourne, Andy joined Nats Post Production as a Runner, initially aspiring to become a picture editor.
An opportunity in audio arose during his time at Nats, recommended to him due to his interest in music outside of work. He joined Blue Post Production to further develop his audio skills after just over a year as an Audio Assistant at Nats. During this period, he worked closely with future ENVY colleagues Matt Skilton and Ben Ormerod, with whom he quickly built strong working relationships. His technical aptitude, curiosity, and enthusiasm for engineering and technology led to his move to ENVY.
Andy began by mixing one-off projects, gradually building his portfolio before securing his first major long-term role on ‘Top Gear’, which he worked on for over 10 years. Other standout projects include ‘The Voice’ and ‘David Beckham: Into the Unknown’, where he had the opportunity to meet David Beckham himself. He continues to enjoy developing efficient workflows and building templates to improve the way the audio department operates.
Recent projects include ‘The Celebrity Traitors’, ‘Building the Band’ and ‘Married to the Game’.
Andy continues to pursue his passion for technology and engineering outside of work, with a particular interest in motorsport engineering.
