After studying at the Brit School and Ravensbourne, Andy joined Nats Post Production as a Runner, aspiring towards becoming a picture editor.
An opportunity in Audio came up during his time at Nats which was recommended to him due to his interests in music outside of work. Andy joined Blue Post Production to further his development in Audio, after just over a year at Nats as an Audio Assistant. He hit it off with his now-ENVY colleagues Matt Skilton and Ben Ormerod straight away. His knowledge, potential and interest in technology and engineering stood out and then made the move to ENVY.
Andy started out by mixing one-off projects, which built up his portfolio before he landed his first major job, Top Gear, and he’s worked on it ever since for over 10 years. Other standout projects for Andy include The Voice and David Beckham: Into the Unknown, where he got to meet the man himself! Engineering continues to be a key interest for Andy, he always enjoys creating templates and streamlining workflows to develop how the Audio department operates.
Andy continues his passion for technology and engineering at home. He has a particular fascination with engineering in motorsport.
