Chris Braithwaite
Dubbing Mixer
From a young age, Chris was interested in music and technology, and began writing and recording as a hobby. This naturally led him to study Music Technology at university, where he discovered that television audio was the right path for him.
At the time, most films and television programmes were still shot on film, so Chris began his career syncing rushes in Leeds before moving south to work in live news. He later joined ENVY, where he progressed through the Machine Room, into tracklaying, and ultimately into mixing, where he continues to work today.
Recent projects include ‘At Home with the Furys’, ‘Michael Jackson: The Trial’ and ‘Dating Horror Stories’.
Some of Chris’s favourite projects include the uplifting ‘Flirty Dancing’ and the BAFTA-winning daytime series ‘The Chase’.
Away from the studio, Chris enjoys watching a wide range of documentaries and comedy programmes. He continues to write, listen to and mix his own music, and values how closely his work aligns with his personal creative interests.
