From a young age, Chris was interested in music and gadgets, so got into writing and recording as a hobby. Almost inevitably, he studied Music Technology at university and through that he realised TV audio was for him.
The majority of films and TV shows were shot on film back then so Chris began his career syncing rushes in Leeds before moving South to work on Live News and then arriving at ENVY. He started by working his way up through Machine Room, to tracklaying then mixing where he now works today.
Some of Chris’ favourite projects includes the uplifting, heart warming Flirty Dancing as well as BAFTA winning daytime show, The Chase. He has a great relationship with the team and spends most days having a laugh.
Away from the Audio suites, Chris loves watching a variety of documentaries and comedy programmes. He continues to listen, write and mix his own music and loves that his job shares show many similarities with his hobbies.
