Matt Skilton
Senior Dubbing Mixer
Matt’s career began at Colour Film Services on Baker Street in 1986 and his first broadcast mix came in 1990 on documentary ‘Paris is Burning’. He then moved to Video London in 1992 and Blue Post Production in 1994, where he met a number of ENVY colleagues along the way. He joined ENVY when the company was founded in 2006 as a Dubbing Mixer.
Matt has received a number of awards throughout his career, most notably winning an RTS Award in 2008 for ‘Meet The Natives’ and a BAFTA for Sound in 2015 for ‘Messiah at the Foundling Hospital’. His first BAFTA nomination came in 1994 for ‘Beyond the Clouds’ then got another nomination in 1998 for ‘Lockerbie a Night Remembered’. Most recently, Matt was nominated for a Primetime Emmy for the documentary ‘Leaving Neverland’. These are all standout projects in Matt’s eyes, as are many others, but too many to list.
His top 3 films of all time as ‘Goodfellas’, ‘Planes, Trains and Automobiles’ and ‘Pulp Fiction’. Matt is also a lifelong Chelsea fan, following them through thick and thin.
